Alpha Coyote in Mist, Lake Tahoe

Capturing this image was an amazing experience. As I sat quietly where the forest met the river, I had no idea what to expect. The solitude would have been enough. You can imagine my excitement when this alpha male, adorned in full winter coat, approached from the forest and momentarily posed on this rock in the river. The mist rising from the river created a mood of spirit and serenity. Enjoy the view!
