Black Bear on River Bank, Taylor Creek, Lake Tahoe

Sometimes your intended photo subject doesn't work out. This image is an example of why it's important to always stay open to the possibilities! After a sunrise attempt at Emerald Bay where I took zero exposures, I decided to grab my Nikon and take a walk along Taylor creek to look for wildlife and relax a little. Well, lucky me. My relaxation turned to excitement when this fellow came walking down the trail strait toward me. Long story short, we ended up here "enjoying each others company" for a few moments. We then headed our separate ways. I was happy.
