Blond Bear in Fall Color & Sage, Lake Tahoe

A blond colored black bear sow sits amongst the sage and meadow grass with a backdrop of yellow and orange aspen trees as Fall descends upon the mountains of Lake Tahoe. This young mother was keeping a watchful eye on her two yearling cubs as they pulled apart a rotting log in search of insects to eat. Fall in the High Sierra is amazing.
