Often times, after creating an image in amazing natural conditions, I pause and say, "Thank You!". To whom, I don't know. I just want to show my gratitude for such an uplifting experience. I am grateful that I consciously appreciate the beauty and power of the natural world. This image, reached via a 5 mile hike from camp in the dark, exemplifies this type of experience. The predawn glow of the atmosphere, a clear view of Denali, the shimmering waters of Wonder Lake, and the fall colors of the tundra. I hope this image shares with you those emotions that push me to visit these amazing wild places!
